1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Rocha Innovative ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Vite Shift mobile application (available on Android and iOS). By using the app, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

Account information: your email address and name
Profile details: profession (e.g., nurse, technician), language and country
Work shift schedule data (dates, shift types, times) that you enter or add from text
Work locations you create, such as hospitals and clinics (optional)
Group activity: the groups you join, swap requests, shift offers and the messages you send in the app

2.2 AI features

When you ask the AI assistant for help in a group, your message and the schedule information it needs (your shifts and those of your group members, their names and work locations) are sent securely to our server and processed by third-party AI providers to generate suggestions. The assistant only suggests — nothing is sent or changed until you confirm it. Your conversation with the assistant is saved so you can see its history, and you can clear it at any time in the app. When you add shifts by typing your schedule as text, the text is processed by AI only to read the shifts and is not stored by us.

2.3 Notifications

If you allow notifications, we store a push token for your device so we can alert you about swap requests, shift offers and approvals.

2.4 Diagnostic logs

If an error occurs in the app, anonymous diagnostic data may be sent to our server. This includes: error type, app version, and device platform (iOS or Android). No personal information is included in error logs.

To display and manage your shift calendar within the app
To sync your schedule across devices when cloud sync is enabled (optional)
To share your schedule with the members of the groups you join, and to handle swaps, offers and messages
To provide AI suggestions for shift swaps and to read shifts from text you enter
To send notifications about swaps, offers and approvals
To manage your Premium subscription, if you have one
To improve app stability through anonymous error diagnostics

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Permissions

The app may request the following device permissions:

Camera: Used only when you choose to scan a group invite QR code. Never accessed in the background, and no photos are taken or stored.
Notifications: Used to alert you about swap requests, shift offers and approvals.

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings.

5. Cloud Sync (Optional)

Cloud sync is disabled by default. If you enable it in the app settings, your shift data is stored securely in our cloud database, protected by row-level security tied to your account. Group features — swaps, offers, messages and the AI assistant — use the schedule you sync, and your shifts are visible to the members of the groups you join. You can disable sync, leave a group or delete your data at any time.

6. Data Storage & Security

By default, all data is stored locally on your device. When cloud sync is enabled, data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a secure, encrypted database. We apply industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

7. Third-Party Services

The app relies on trusted third-party services to deliver its functionality:

A cloud database and authentication provider for accounts, sync and group features
AI processing providers for the assistant and text-to-shift features — they receive your request and the relevant schedule data only to generate a response
A push notification delivery service
Apple, Google and a subscription management provider to process and verify Premium subscriptions
A mobile build and update delivery platform

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. No third-party provider stores your personal data beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the requested feature.

8. Children's Privacy

Vite Shift is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your Rights

You may at any time:

Access or delete your data from within the app settings
Disable cloud sync to keep your schedule on your device only
Clear your AI assistant conversation history
Contact us or use our account deletion page to request full data deletion

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
