1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Rocha Innovative ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Vite Shift mobile application (available on Android and iOS). By using the app, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

Name and professional role (e.g., nurse, technician) for profile personalization
Work shift schedule data (dates, shift types, times) that you enter or import

2.2 Images

When you use the AI schedule import feature, you may upload a photo of your work schedule. This image is sent securely to our server solely to extract shift data using AI. Images are not stored — they are processed in memory and immediately discarded after the data is extracted.

2.3 Diagnostic logs

If an error occurs in the app, anonymous diagnostic data may be sent to our server. This includes: error type, app version, and device platform (iOS or Android). No personal information is included in error logs.

3. How We Use Your Information

To display and manage your shift calendar within the app
To sync your schedule across devices when cloud sync is enabled (optional)
To extract shift data from uploaded schedule photos using AI processing
To improve app stability through anonymous error diagnostics

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Permissions

The app may request the following device permissions:

Camera: Used only when you choose to photograph a schedule for AI import. Never accessed in the background.
Photo Library: Used only when you choose to select an existing photo for AI import. Never accessed automatically.

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings.

5. Cloud Sync (Optional)

Cloud sync is disabled by default. If you enable it in the app settings, your shift data is stored securely in our cloud database (Supabase), protected by row-level security tied to your account. You can disable sync or delete your data at any time from the app.

6. Data Storage & Security

By default, all data is stored locally on your device. When cloud sync is enabled, data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a secure, encrypted database. We apply industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

7. Third-Party Services

The app relies on trusted third-party services to deliver its functionality:

A cloud database and authentication provider for optional sync features
An AI processing provider for schedule image import — receives image data temporarily during processing only
A mobile build and update delivery platform

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. No third-party provider stores your personal data beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the requested feature.

8. Children's Privacy

Vite Shift is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your Rights

You may at any time:

Access or delete your data from within the app settings
Disable cloud sync to keep all data local only
Contact us to request full data deletion

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
